Unpopular take: I actually liked season 2 of The Bear less than most people
I know everyone raves about how season 2 of The Bear was this huge step up, but for me it went the other way. I rewatched season 1 last month and then binged season 2 right after, and that's when it hit me. The first season had this messy, raw energy that felt real, like you were inside that cramped kitchen with them. Season 2 got so polished and emotional, every episode felt like it was trying to make me cry, and it just wore me out after about 6 episodes. I get why people love the character growth, but I miss the chaos and the accidental comedy from those early days. Has anyone else felt this way, or am I just the odd one out here? Maybe I need to give it another shot, but I'm honestly not sure I can sit through the Christmas episode again.
