Watched a full season of a show in one sitting at a hotel in Reno and now I can't watch anything weekly
I was stuck at a conference in Reno last spring and the only thing on was a show I'd never heard of, so I watched 9 episodes back to back in my room. Now if a show comes out weekly I just wait until the season ends and burn through it all at once. Problem is I end up avoiding friends who want to talk about it every Sunday. How do you all handle shows that everyone else watches live?

I do the exact same thing, been waiting on new seasons to drop since like 2019. One trick that works for me is telling friends upfront "I'm behind on purpose, just don't spoil me til I catch up" and most people actually respect it. Also muting the show name on social media for a few weeks saves you from getting the big reveal ruined.
