Eye punch snapped off inside a 1084 blade right at quench, and I fished it out with a $4 nail set
Happened last Thursday on my third blade of the day, the punch tip sheared clean and buried itself in the tang. I drove it out from the other side with a cheap nail set and a 2 lb hammer, then normalized the blade twice before re-drilling, anyone got a better trick for stuck tooling?
