Why I finally gave into playing That's Pretty Clever after dodging it for months
I really thought the whole dice-charting trend was just hype until my buddy brought it to game night last Saturday. He handed me the scoresheet and I figured it would be some boring numbers game. But after one round of filling in those yellow boxes and chaining combos together, I was totally hooked - I ended up buying my own copy the next day from our local shop in Denver. Has anyone else had a game they brushed off completely change their mind after just one play?

Guess @oscarscott's spare scoresheet is the real MVP here, huh?

Grab that scoresheet and really pay attention to how the yellow combos feed into the green and blue tracks. Once you figure out that one good chain can unlock three or four bonuses in a single turn, the game clicks. I had the same experience thinking it was just dice math until I saw how skipping a low number sets up a huge endgame payout. Now I keep a spare scoresheet in my bag just in case someone wants to try it.
