Swapped to a 1/2 inch drive impact after 5 years of using 3/8 and it legit cut my bolt time in half on those big flange jobs
I was at a refinery turnaround in Baton Rouge last month and a older hand laughed at my setup, let me borrow his Milwaukee 2767 and now I feel like an idiot for not upgrading sooner, anyone else stick with a smaller gun way longer than they should have?

Not to be that guy, but the 2767 is actually 1/2 inch drive too. So you already had the right setup. Just needed the bigger motor, you know?

I actually saw a YouTube teardown of the 2767 where they compared the internals to the 2763 (the high torque one) and the motors are totally different. The 2767 has that little brushed motor that just can't keep up with the big impact loads, but the gearbox and anvil are basically the same as the 2763, so you were right on the money, @dylan_rodriguez. Makes you wonder why Milwaukee didn't just put the bigger motor in the 2767 from the factory, but I guess they need to keep some features for the premium model. Still, it's a solid setup once you swap the motor out, and you don't have to buy new sockets or anything.
