Debate night got weird when someone argued the climax happens on page 97
Last book club meeting in Denver, a guy kept insisting the turning point in the memoir was a minor scene about a broken radiator at the halfway mark, and 8 of us spent 20 minutes flipping pages trying to prove he was wrong, so has anyone else had a member fixate on a random detail and derail the whole discussion?

God, that's infuriating. Hope you all survived the radiator guy.

Peeling myself off the ceiling after that whole ordeal, I swear the guy left more fingerprints on my walls than paint. He kept muttering about the "pressure differential" like that explained why he drilled three holes in the wrong spot. At one point my cat hid in the laundry basket for two hours, and honestly, I don't blame her. The worst part was he asked if he could use my bathroom, then took a 20 minute shower. Yeah, the radiator's still cold, but at least I know his life story now.
