Told my neighbor her rooster was too loud and she laughed in my face

I live in a subdivision outside Austin with a 3 chicken limit per house. She's got 6 hens and a rooster. I tried being nice about it, asked if she could keep him quiet during early morning hours. She said and I quote "Roosters gonna crow, deal with it." So I called code enforcement. Turns out roosters are banned outright in our HOA. She had to rehome him. Now she won't talk to me. I don't feel bad. She knew the rules. Has anyone else had a neighbor refuse to follow local chicken laws?

Blew a fuse in a customer's panel last Tuesday and had to eat the cost

Was installing a new coax drop in a 1970s house in Phoenix and the old panel was so rusted I accidentally shorted something. $150 out of my pocket to get an electrician out there to fix it. How do you guys handle old electrical panels that look like they came from a salvage yard?

Wasted $400 on a cheap flux core welder from Amazon

Tbh I thought I was being smart saving money. Bought it 8 months ago and it struggled to burn through anything thicker than 1/8 inch. Gave me nothing but bird nests and spatter. Finally borrowed my buddy's Miller last week and realized what a real welder should do. Could have bought a used Lincoln for half that price. Anyone else get burned by those bargain brand machines?

I used the same password for everything until a coworker called me out

At my last job in Austin, I had an Excel sheet with all my logins because I couldn't remember them all. A guy from IT saw me typing from it one day and just laughed and said 'you know that's how people get cleaned out, right?' I thought I was being smart by having them written down. Just realized how much Netflix changed after 2021

I started rewatching a show I loved back in 2019 and the whole feel is different now. Back then they'd let a season breathe with like 13 episodes, now everything is 8 episodes max with cliffhangers. I swear they're pushing quantity over quality since they started losing Marvel shows and stuff. Has anyone else noticed older shows hit different compared to the new originals?
