Watched a guy in Vegas win $1,100 on one hand of blackjack and then lose it all on the next card
I was killing time at the El Cortez in downtown Vegas on a Tuesday afternoon when this older dude sat down with maybe $200 and somehow ran it up to $1,100 in about six hands. The pit boss was watching, the dealer was laughing, and the whole table was cheering him on like it was the Super Bowl. Then he pushes the whole stack on one more hand, draws a 16 against a dealer 10, hits, busts, and just walks away without saying a word. Has anyone else seen someone do a full send like that and actually walk away clean, or does it always end the same way?
My buddy did this at the Gold Coast a few years back, turned $300 into $2,400 and pushed it all on one hand of baccarat. He won that hand and walked with almost five grand, but he told me later the pit boss followed him to the cage the whole way. Most guys who go full send end up like the dude you watched, and the ones who win just get lucky once.
