Unpopular opinion: my $39 rice cooker pays for itself and then some
Everyone keeps telling me to just use a pot on the stove, but I did the math and my $39 rice cooker from Walmart has saved me about $12 a month on takeout since I got it 8 months ago. I know people think small appliances are a waste of money and counter space, but I eat way more meals at home now because it takes two minutes to set up. How do you all decide which cheap gadgets are actually worth it versus just clutter?
