Ngl, I just realized my book club has read 50 books since we switched to video calls in 2020.

Honestly, it hit me that we've argued about more books in the last four years than we did in the whole decade before, and I kinda miss the feeling of someone slamming a paperback down on the table to make a point.

Right? That number sounds totally wild when you put it like that. Honestly, it makes my own goal of twenty books a year feel impossible sometimes. You just have to find little pockets of time, like reading for twenty minutes before bed instead of scrolling. Even then, some months you just fall behind and that's okay too.
