That $60 book club membership fee was a huge waste for me
I paid $60 for a year at a local book club and they only read two books I liked before everyone stopped showing up. Has anyone else had luck with cheaper or free alternatives that actually keep people engaged?

oh man i feel you @wren217 its not about the money its just frustrating when you pay for something and it fizzles out. i tried a free meetup group once and it was even worse like four people showed up and one guy just talked about his cats the whole time.
