Just hit 500 books repaired this year and I'm kinda shocked

I was counting up my work orders last night and realized I've rebound or fixed 501 books since January. That's way more than I thought, and honestly my hands are feeling it. Anyone else keep a running tally of their work and get surprised by the number?

That number hits different when you stop and think about it. A buddy of mine who does similar work was bragging about 200 and then I mentioned you're at 500 and he went quiet for a solid minute. Guess your hands are telling the real story though.

Honestly I used to think people were just being dramatic when they talked about their hands falling apart from work. Yeah I get why 500 would make his buddy go quiet. That's a lot of wear and tear on a body that doesn't heal like it used to.
