I timed my whole 8 hour shift on a stopwatch app for 3 days and it broke my brain a little
I work the front desk at a self storage place in Reno and last Tuesday I started hitting lap on my phone every time a task changed, just to see where the day actually goes. Turns out I spend 2 hours and 40 minutes of every shift just walking the halls doing lock checks, and only about 12 minutes total actually talking to customers, which is the part I thought was my whole job. Do any of you track your day like this, or would seeing the real numbers just make you madder?
