Just realized I've stapled 100,000 pages at my print shop job and I'm only 3 years in
I ran the counter on our old Konica last Tuesday and it flipped past 100,000 pages since I started at the shop in Toledo. Half of me says that's just what the job is, staple, stack, repeat, and the number means nothing. The other half says hitting six figures of anything should feel like something, and maybe I should ask for a raise instead of a high five. Did anyone else track a number like this at work, or am I the only one doing math I probably shouldn't?
Wait, are you saying 100k is the shop's total or just yours? Because if that Konica was already at 90k when you started, your half of the math is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Either way, three years to six figures is still a real number, so maybe skip the high five and go straight to the raise talk.
