TIL the difference between new crew and seasoned crew is mostly clean up habits

Back in May I switched to a different site crew in Fort Worth and it hit me how much time one group wasted on cleanup at the end of the day. The old guys I work with now sweep and stack as they go, so we knock off 45 minutes earlier every shift. My last crew would leave everything scattered and we'd spend an hour just sorting cones and hoses. Anyone else notice how the boring part of a job, like cleanup, totally sets the pace for the whole crew?
