Unpopular opinion: my 20 year old filing system still beats the software they moved us to last month
Worked the records desk at the county office in Dayton for 18 years and last month they rolled out a new scanning program that ate 3 hours of my Tuesday because it kept re-sorting files by date instead of name. I went back to my paper log for the afternoon rush and had every folder back in the drawer in 20 minutes flat. Does anyone else keep a backup system like that, or am I just being stubborn about the old way of doing things?
