Hit my 50th absurd meeting note from my boss and had to share (Seattle)

I just realized I've saved 50 separate meeting notes where my manager, Karen, said something completely backwards like telling us to 'be more efficient' while scheduling 4 hours of status updates per week. The kicker is she printed out a 12-page agenda for a 30-minute standup last Tuesday. Has anyone else started keeping a weird tally of their boss's contradictions?

That 12-page agenda for a 30-minute standup really got me. I started tallying things after my boss told us to "think outside the box" but then shot down every single idea that wasn't exactly what she would have thought of herself. The real gold is when they contradict themselves in the SAME meeting like saying we need more collaboration but then mandating that all communication goes through them first. I've got a running list of stuff like "reduce email traffic" followed by a mass email about reducing email traffic. My count is at 38 now and I honestly think this is some kind of survival coping mechanism.
