I switched from miracle-gro to compost tea for my monstera and the new leaf came in bigger
I ran out of my jug of miracle-gro mid spring and a guy at the plant swap in Austin handed me a jar of his compost tea instead. I was sure it was just dirt water hype until my monstera pushed out a leaf that measured 14 inches across, way bigger than the 9 inch ones I was getting before. I still use a little liquid feed when I remember, but the tea is doing most of the work now and my pothos roots look way healthier too. Anyone else brewing their own, or am I wasting time when a plain old fertilizer would do the same thing?
