Question about mortar mixing, watched a guy on a job in Tulsa use dish soap
He swore by it for workability but the joints started crumbling 4 months later when it froze. Soap puts air in the mix and kills the strength, and you can't see it until winter hits. Anybody else run into old timers doing this, and how do you tell them no without a fight?
