My aunt's 'just cancel it' line saved me $1,200 in 20 minutes
She came over while I was stressing about bills and saw 4 subscriptions I forgot about. She said 'you don't use any of these, just cancel it' and I did it right there. Anyone else have a family member who sees your money habits clearly when you're too deep in it?

The "you don't use any of these" part is the whole thing. The problem is we get used to paying for stuff on autopilot and stop asking if we actually use it. I do a sweep every few months now and it's always worth it, even if I only find one or two things to cut.
