Serious question, my 14 year old asked why I still write paper checks for rent and I froze
We were sitting at the kitchen table in Akron last Tuesday and she watched me fill out the date on a $850 rent check and asked why I do not just set up auto pay like her friend's mom. I told her it hurts more when the money leaves your hand every month, which is how I got out of $6,200 in card debt back in 2018, but she looked at me like I was talking about a rotary phone. Does anyone else still pay something on paper just so you feel it, or am I just stuck in the past?
