That online 'finance guru' course I bought was basically a YouTube playlist

I spent $150 on a 'debt freedom blueprint' course from some Instagram guy last year. It was just videos telling me to 'cut my lattes' and 'sell stuff on Craigslist' - stuff I already knew. Then I found out he copied most of his content from free blogs and YouTube clips. Anyone else get burned by a guru who promised more than they delivered?

I read somewhere that most of those courses are just repackaged free info...

Ha, yeah that tracks. I've definitely bought into a few of those 'masterclass' type things myself only to realize it's basically the same stuff as a YouTube video from 2017 but with fancier edits. Made me feel like a sucker for spending $50 to learn what I could have got for free if I'd just searched a bit longer. But hey, at least my browser history looks more legit now?
