Why does nobody talk about the $9 overdraft fee that turned into a $340 hole
I was at the Circle K on Airport Road buying a $2 gatorade when my card got declined and that one small overdraft snowballed into $340 of fees over 8 days because I kept swiping without checking the balance. I started calling the bank every time they hit me with a fee and just calmly asked them to reverse it, and they said yes on 6 of the 7 fees that week. Has anyone else figured out a better way to dig out once you're already in that hole, or is calling and asking really the only move?
