I finally ditched the heat gun and tried the oven trick on my PS4 reflow, and the thing booted on the first try
After two failed reflow attempts with a heat gun that just cooked the board, I did the foil and oven method at 385 degrees for 8 minutes on my launch model PS4, and it has been running for 5 weeks now, so has anyone else had luck with this or did it just totally die on you a month later?

I used to call the oven thing a myth and figured people were just wasting their consoles. Seeing yours survive 5 weeks kinda flips that for me. Did you pull the board out completely or leave stuff attached?
