Just realized everyone's been prying open laptops with the wrong tool

I see so many people online using flathead screwdrivers to pop laptop casings and it drives me nuts. One wrong slip and you've got a gouged motherboard or snapped clips. Been fixing laptops since 2018 and a $5 plastic spudger set from Amazon saves so much hassle.

Fifteen years running my own shop and I've seen butter knives work too. But that one time it didn't? Customer brought in a laptop with a butter knife gash clean through the trackpad ribbon. Not worth it.

I mean I once watched a guy use a butter knife and it actually worked somehow.
