Hostel kitchen drama taught me a food storage trick

I stayed at a hostel in Barcelona last week and someone kept stealing my yogurt from the shared fridge. Turns out if you put your stuff in an opaque container labeled 'soup starter' nobody touches it. Has anyone else found weird labels that actually work?
