Paid $15 for a 'hidden gem' walking tour, got a guy showing us his basement laundry
Found a discount walking tour in Lisbon that said 'local secrets.' Instead we stood in a stranger's basement for 20 minutes while he bragged about his washing machine. Has anyone else had a 'local experience' that was just someone's regular Tuesday?

The real scam is that tour guides now just charge you to hang out with them while they do errands.
