Question about the $3.80 breakfast at the Elks lodge near me
I went to the Elks lodge in my town on Saturday for their monthly pancake breakfast and paid $7 total for two people. A guy at the table next to me said he eats there every Saturday and his grocery bill dropped by $60 a month because he skips cooking breakfast at home. I did the math on my own coffee and egg habit and it was around $45 a month just for weekday mornings. Now I'm wondering how many other clubs or churches around here do cheap public meals. Does anyone else use these kinds of community breakfasts to cut their food costs?
