PSA: My bullet journal setup was wasting my time

I realized that keeping it messy actually helps me get more done.

Actually a clean setup saves me time in the long run. Knowing where everything is means I don't waste minutes searching for notes. Structure helps my brain focus instead of getting lost in the chaos.

From what I've seen, people get really hung up on perfect systems. My own bullet journal has both messy and clean parts, and it works fine for me. Sometimes the search for the best method wastes more time than just using what you have. It might not be as critical as we make it out to be.

Read this thing about how a lot of tech CEOs have super messy desks but their actual computer files are perfectly organized. It's like the outside mess doesn't matter because their system for the important stuff is solid. My notes are a disaster of grease stains and crossed out lists, but I know exactly which pocket that ticket is in. The method isn't the point, it's whether you can find the info when you need it. Some people need the clean page to think straight, others work fine in the chaos.
