The $27 dotted notebook that changed my whole spread setup

I grabbed a no-name dotted notebook from a local art store in Portland for $27 last month, and honestly it beats the big brand ones I was using. The paper is thicker so my highlighters don't bleed through, and the grid is actually printed straight (which I never checked before). Has anyone else had luck with cheaper notebooks or do you stick with the usual suspects?
