That one Tuesday in March where everything went sideways and then fixed itself

Had a day last spring where three big orders fell through before noon, including one from a long time client in Dayton who said they were taking their work to a cheaper shop. I was ready to call it quits by lunch. Then by 4pm, two new referrals came in out of nowhere, one for a project worth $4,500, and the old client actually called back to say they had a change of heart. Has anyone else had a day that swung that hard that fast, or was that just my weird luck?
