Took me 6 weeks to realize my client onboarding process was the bottleneck, not my sales

I spent 3 months chasing new leads and wondering why my revenue flatlined at $8k a month. Turned out I was onboarding people wrong and they kept canceling after 30 days. Anyone else find that fixing a boring backend process unlocked way more growth than any marketing push?

Wait, are you saying I should have been fixing my backend stuff this whole time instead of obsessing over my email list?

Honestly, I think Jessica Dixon nailed it. Tbh I spent my first year obsessing over my email list and ignoring basic stuff like checkout flow and payment processing. Once I fixed those backend issues, my conversion rate jumped like 30% without me doing anything else to my list. Ngl, the list matters but if your backend leaks customers like a sieve, you're just losing money faster.
