Update: I blew off that $297 mastermind group for 8 months, then a guy in Denver showed me his books
So I run a small pressure washing setup out of my garage, two trucks now, and for the longest time I figured anything with a monthly fee and a private group was just people selling courses to people who sell courses. Turned it down twice, once in January and again in March. Then a guy I know from a Denver job invited me into one that costs $297 a month and I only said yes because I wanted to see his numbers. He pulled up his dashboard over coffee and he was doing $31k a month across three crews, and the whole thing was booked through referrals he got from two other guys in that same group. What got me was that nobody in there was posting about mindset or six figure funnels. They just swap leads, and I got my first $1,800 job from a plumber in there about three weeks later. Six months in, the group has sent me a little over $9k in work, so it pays for itself, but it is not magic and half the guys never say anything. Curious if anyone else has tried a paid group like this and had it go the other way, because I know there has to be bad ones out there.
