My $18 rice cooker from 2011 just made its 2,000th batch of rice
I did the math this morning while scraping the bottom of the pot and it works out to less than a penny per batch over 13 years. The nonstick coating is shot and I have to jiggle the switch sometimes, but it still makes perfect rice every single time. Anyone else got a cheap appliance that refuses to die, or am I just lucky with this one?
