The $35 boot resole saved my 14 year old Danners
Bought these Danner work boots back in 2011 for $180. Wore them every day on job sites in Portland through rain and mud. Heels were totally shot by year 10, soles slick as ice. Almost tossed them. Then a cobbler in Sellwood quoted me $35 for just the heel and sole patch, not a full rebuild. Took three weeks but holy cow, they feel better than new. I've got a pair of $80 mall boots that fell apart in 8 months. Anyone else have luck saving old boots instead of buying new?
