Shoutout to the $90 magnetic featherboard that saved my fingers on the router table
I picked up a magnetic featherboard for $90 about 3 months back after a close call with a raised panel bit on the router table. Last week it held a curly maple rail tight through a full pass and I finished the whole set of kitchen doors without a single kickback. Before that I was hand feeding and white knuckling every cut, which is a dumb way to work when you're pushing 60 hours a week in a one man cabinet gig here in Tacoma. Curious what hold down setup the rest of you run on the router table, because I'm not going back to bare hands.
