Started labeling my drawer boxes with painter's tape and a Sharpie, saved me a headache on install day
Three weeks ago I was installing a set of 9 birch drawer boxes in a kitchen out in Chandler and grabbed box 4 when I needed box 7. Everything looked the same in the stack and I ended up pulling two of them back out. Now I slap a strip of blue tape on the front with the cabinet number and the room written on it right when I finish sanding. Sounds dumb but it cut my install time down and I haven't mixed one up since. Anyone else got a cheap shop trick like this or am I late to the party?
