Customer told me my staples were crooked, now I tape everything first
Had a homeowner in Tacoma point out every staple on their baseboard trim, said it looked like a spider crawled through it. I started running a strip of masking tape along the cable path before stapling, keeps the staples straight and stops the drywall from cracking. Anyone else do this or got a better way to keep lines clean?

Ever tried just eyeballing staples and hoping for the best? I used to think tape was a waste of time, but after one job where I had to rip out and redo a whole corner, I switched and never looked back. It keeps everything straight and saves way more time on the fix than it takes to put on.
