Old-school fiber splicer surprised me with what it costs now
Found out my old Fitel 177 from 2009 is going for $900 on eBay. I paid $400 for it back then and thought that was steep. Guys at the shop said the new ones run near $5000. Who's still running older splicers and how's it holding up?
