Went to check out a new subdivision in Phoenix and noticed something odd about the conduit

I was running cable in a new build out near Buckeye last week and saw the conduit for the fiber was routed right next to the main water line with barely six inches of clearance. The foreman said it passed inspection but that feels like a disaster waiting to happen. Has anyone else run into bad conduit placement in new developments that made your install way harder than it needed to be?

Man, that's a classic screw up right there. Six inches of clearance is just asking for trouble when a water line bursts or starts sweating and rust eats through the conduit over time. I've pulled cable out of conduit that was basically submerged in mud from a nearby leak, and it's a nightmare you don't want to deal with.
