Update: I spent 40 bucks on a 1988 Minolta lens at a garage sale in Fresno and now I don't know what to think
Last weekend I bought a beat up Minolta 50mm f1.7 for $40 at a garage sale in Fresno, and it had dust inside and a stiff focus ring. Part of me says clean it and flip it for $120 on eBay, the other part says just shoot with it and enjoy a lens that costs less than a tank of gas. My buddy Ray says cheap glass isn't worth the time since a good cleaning eats up 2 hours, but I kind of like the idea of keeping tools simple. So whats the call, fix and flip or just use it?
