Warning: My $30 Amazon stove died at 9,200 ft on Mount Whitney and a stranger's Jetboil saved my trip
I had to ask three separate hikers for a light before someone with a working piezo let me borrow theirs at Trail Camp, and now I want to know if anyone else has had a cheap stove just quit on them above 9,000 ft or if I'm the only one who trusted the reviews too much.
