Wow, nine months of sitting on that is wild. I remember reading about that Justine Sacco case where the PR lady tweeted a bad joke before a flight to Africa and by the time she landed she was fired and the whole internet was dragging her. The thing that got me was how the mob moved on to the next target within like a day, but her life was wrecked for years after. One dumb joke vs a whole career feels way off balance to me, even if the joke was awful.
