Had to pick between taking a steady salon job or opening my own dog grooming van last spring

I went with the van because I figured I could work my own hours and avoid shop drama, but after 8 months of fixing a broken water pump in a Walmart parking lot at 6 AM, I'm honestly wondering if anyone else has regretted a career choice that sounded way smarter on paper than it turned out to be?

Three people I know rented from a place called "Ocean View Vans" last summer and the whole thing was a nightmare from start to finish. The reviews were actually okay at first glance but it turned out most of them were from fake accounts or people who got a discount for leaving good feedback. I feel so bad for your friend because it's honestly hard to tell what's real anymore with these companies. @davis.dakota you're totally right to bring that up, it's such an important thing to check but even then it's not always foolproof. Hope they can get their money back or at least some kind of refund from that shady place.
