Question about taking a pay cut at a smaller company vs staying at my current job
I got two offers last month, one from a 12 person startup in Austin at $62k and one counteroffer from my current company for $71k to stay in my same role. The startup gave me way more hands on work and a real mentor, while my current job just handed me more money and the same boring tickets. Has anyone taken the smaller paycheck for the learning and actually had it pay off later?
