I sat in the truck outside the shop in Akron last week and he said I should be grateful I even have a spot on the crew. So I started asking the GCs I see on jobsites if their estimators need help, and one guy gave me a shot with a $4,000 raise. For anyone who moved from the field into the office, did your old crew resent you for it or did it blow over?
