6 months to learn what a 90 minute call coulda told me
I spent ages overthinking a move from retail management to data entry, updating my resume like 14 times and watching YouTube tutorials. Finally paid $45 for a one hour consult with a lady in Austin who does hiring for a medical billing company, and she just told me straight up that my inventory spreadsheet experience counted way more than I thought. That one call got me an interview in two weeks, which took longer to find than the whole job search. Has anyone else burned months on prep work that a single honest conversation coulda fixed?
