My new boss told me my sales calls sounded like a robot reading a script, which stung but he was right.
He said, 'David, you sound like you're checking boxes, not talking to a person.' I started just asking one real question about their business before I even looked at my notes. Has anyone else had to kill a bad habit from their old job like this?
