My old resume said 'managed projects' now I say 'ran a $50k budget' and interviews changed

Before my switch I listed duties like 'responsible for team coordination' and got zero callbacks for 4 months. After a friend in HR in Austin told me to write outcomes instead of tasks, I started putting numbers on everything. Now I say 'cut vendor costs 18% in 6 months' or 'led 3 product launches with 200+ users each' and I've had 5 interviews in 2 weeks. The weird part is I was doing the same work, just framing it as results instead of activities. Anyone else find that recruiters react way differently to concrete numbers versus vague job descriptions?
