PSA: The 15 minute coffee chat got me an interview after 40 online apps went nowhere
I sent out 40 applications over 5 months and got 2 automated rejections. A guy I knew from a job site told me to stop applying and just ask one person per week for 15 minutes of their time. I tried it with a project manager in Austin and she passed my name to a hiring lead, and I had an interview in 9 days. Has anyone else had luck with the short call thing, or did it just work once for me?
